Los Robles Hills Winery is a labor of love nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains in Thousand Oaks, California. Our vineyards, named Puerta del Cielo, meaning “Gate of Heaven” pay homage to the Spanish missionaries who traversed the El Camino Real at California’s inception. The vineyards, comprised of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, enjoy a unique micro-climate, with the cool Malibu ocean breezes kissing the vines at night. Our hand-crafted artisan wines are a testimony to the Ventura County terroir, so very similar to that of Southern Italy, and bring with them the maturity of venerable California winemaking with the impudence of an upstart wine region.
